Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can Lose (& Week 4 Picks)

Updated: Oct 1, 2022

When Coach Taylor of Friday Night Lights delivers the phrase "Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can't Lose", what you don't realize is that this was the abbreviated phrase. If you Google the Friday Night Lights manuscript, you'll actually see on page 312, paragraph 4 that the directors had originally made the quote "Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can't Lose unless you're Fat Curry."

It's a been a rougher 3 weeks than Daddy wishes to admit. Daddy's bruises are starting to resemble a two-week old banana, but that doesn't mean Daddy isn't worthless. Is a bruised banana everyone's preference over a beautifully ripe banana? Probably not unless you're an animal (figuratively and literally). A bruised banana may not appeal to a wide audience, but it does still hold value.

Although Daddy is as bruised up as the woman who is always falling in the Life Alert commercials, at least Daddy's got time on his side to heal unlike her. I look at the CFB calendar, and I see a lot of weeks left to right the ship. I'm not sorry for my prior picks, and I apologize to no one for the prior weeks because I believe in what I say. Now what I say may have as much validity as words that are spewed out on The View, but I promise to the fans and everybody in Fat Curry Nation, a lot of good will come out of this.

You will never see any Journalist in the entire country pick as hard as I will pick the rest of the season, and you will never see someone push the rest of Fat Curry Bets as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the CFB season, and you will never see a blog pick harder than we will the rest of the season. God Bless and ESKETIT.

Yours in Bruises,

Fat Curry / Big Daddy

NCAA Tournament Day 1

I love March. First days of spring. Opening Day. And March Madness. Starting at 12, make sure you have your do not disturb turned on. Boss wants to see you? Nope - busy day ahead. Girlfriend wants to

Well that was interesting

Yesterday was a doozy. Started out with 3 straight wins (after 2 wins to close out Friday). Then we got a little greedy and went after the evening slate and just went cold. 3-3 on the day but we only
